Enrichment Opportunities
Enrichment opportunities are especially important to student growth and development. Whether you participate in sports, clubs, after-school programs, peer mentoring, summer camps, or other extra-curricular activities, you will be more prepared and equipped for higher education, and employment. Through these initiatives students are able to enhance their academic and social skills, generating a resume for the future.
Enrichment programs may focus on music and fine arts, learning, athletics, building a variety of skills, and so on. During the year, the Guidance Department receives information from community-based organizations, non-profit operations, religious organizations and universities offering such programs for young adolescents.
We plan on using this website to convey these opportunities to parents and students in our school district, and challenge you to take advantage of these great resources to discover something meaningful and rewarding.
The Natick High School Guidance and Counseling Department does not endorse one program over another but offers this list for information purposes only.
If you're looking for a summer program, Opportunities are available for students in all grades, both in this area and throughout the country. For more information, please Click on the link above.
The Education Cooperative
The Education Cooperative (TEC) Internship Program is a career exploration program supporting junior and senior high school students. TEC internships enable students to: clarify career goals and future academics; understand career paths and what having a job is really like; strengthen a college application and/or resume; gain confidence and life skills; and make potential contacts for a future job search.
