Junior Guidance Seminar
Juniors participate in Guidance Seminars
during the spring semester. Each student is scheduled into a seminar
which meets during the CDS block once per cycle, and is taught by his or
her own guidance counselor. Juniors will review course selection
options and choose their courses for their senior year. They will then
complete an extensive college planning unit. Students are also led
through bullying intervention and prevention curriculum designed to
foster empathy and build school community.
Guidance Seminar takes place during one Common Directed Study block per cycle.
