Camp Sewataro in Sudbury, MA is hiring Tribe Assistants and Lifeguards for Summer 2019 (June 24-August 16, 8-4pm):

Tribe Assistant 
The role of the Tribe Assistant is to provide assistance and support to the Head Tribe Counselor. Tribe Assistant Counselors usually work with campers ages 4-6 years old. Tribe Assistants are college or high school-aged students. Flexibility, collaboration and the ability to take direction are essential skills for this position.

Swim Instructor/Lifeguard
Camp Sewataro is an authorized American Red Cross provider of swim instruction. We hire ARC-certified WSI (Water Safety Instructor) and LGT (Lifeguard) as swim instructors on the waterfront. Many of our waterfront staff carry both WSI and LGT certifications. Swim instructors teach three swim lessons a day and lifeguard for three free swim periods a day. Swim instructors are also assigned to a tribe. During morning arrival time, at lunch, and at the end of the day the Waterfront Counselor joins their tribe and works with the Tribe Leader in providing support for the campers. If you are able to take the required certification courses prior to the start of the camp season, we will reimburse one-half the cost of the course (either WSI or LGT) at the end of the summer. If you return the next summer, we will reimburse the second half of the course tuition. You can complete the online staff application before you have taken the course(s).
