The Health course is held for one semester during sophomore year. The content is primarily concerned with those behaviors that contribute directly to optimal health while reducing the risk of disease. At the conclusion of this advanced college preparatory course, students will have a better understanding of major health concepts, a sense of responsibility for one's own health, and the necessary skills to implement desirable health behaviors and attitudes.
